A: There is no charge for our initial planning meetings and recommendations. We feel it’s time well spent to get to know one another before we seek a mutual commitment and charge a fee.
A: As a Registered Investment Advisor, we provide fee-only investment management, with our fees based on a percentage of your assets that we manage.
A: Our minimum portfolio starts at $1 million for individual wealth management clients. If your current asset level does not meet our minimum requirements but you have unique circumstances you would like to discuss, please do not hesitate to give us a call.
A: Before any changes are made, we first analyze your existing portfolio and discuss our recommendations with you. Our overall goal is for your portfolio to align with your lifetime objectives and to be transferred in the most cost-effective way possible. If existing holdings lend themselves to your long-term objectives, we leave them in place. If changes are warranted, we work with you to ensure any transitions occur as smoothly and cost-effectively as possible.
A: While you grant us Limited Power of Attorney (LPOA) to execute transactions on your behalf, you remain in control of your assets. Accounts are held in your name at a qualified custodian such as Schwab Institutional or Fidelity Investments.
A: Yes. We will take on Fiduciary responsibility for investment selection and monitoring. As a Fiduciary, we reduce your liability and must put the interests of our clients first. As a fiduciary advisor, ML&R Wealth Management serves as your true partner, helping you to satisfy this most important obligation.
