From the beginning, our parent company Maxwell Locke & Ritter’s founders — Earl Maxwell, Tom Locke, and Mark Ritter — were determined to establish a new kind of CPA firm. Five years later, they thought they could provide better financial advice for their tax clients so ML&R Wealth Management was founded. Knowing there was a way to practice public accounting and wealth management that increased employee satisfaction, they focused on founding a unique company culture, where people looked forward to spending their time in the workplace.
This set the stage for our culture today, a charitable organization in Austin combining a financial culture focused on helping employees reach their potential with an exceptional service culture for our clients and the community.

Our Charity
We are committed to our community as a charitable organization, performing community service in Austin, Texas. Through our volunteer efforts, we seek to cultivate a financial culture that will strengthen the future of our community. You can find many of our financial advisors and associates supporting nonprofits in their time away from the office, from participating on boards and committees to serving in other volunteer capacities. In fact, ML&R Wealth Management and their parent company, Maxwell Locke & Ritter, are present at over 130 local and national organizations.
Wellness
We are dedicated to providing a workplace that promotes the health of our employees. Our Wellness Team provides opportunities for employees to participate together in programs that improve their overall activity levels, nutrition, and mindfulness. Our programs include resources for new moms, discounted and free gym memberships, small group personal training classes, in-house yoga, and various monthly activity challenges, outings, and speakers.
